Tammy Dunn
July 21, 1965 - July 21, 2021
This morning the St. Louis Fashion scene took a loss as we mourn Tammi Dunn. I remember in 2017 when I heard about Tammy Dunn and the fantastic charity she did for breast cancer awareness called operation prom night. Dunn always facebook stalked me as I did as well because I always had a passion for fashion. Long story short, through a model, I finally got up the bravery to ask her if I could photograph her fashion show, and she was so honored.
A few months ago, she booked me for a photoshoot, and she heard about my diagnosis; at that time, I had been through two surgeries and was not handling all the treatments very well. So she paid me for the photoshoot and told me that nothing would happen to me. Instead, Dunn would message me every day and drop off food because she knew I was having trouble keeping food down. Nobody knew what I was going through more than her.
I was saddened when she took a turn for the worst and could not have visitors, but I am so glad you continued to text me. It seems so funny how I go to the doctor, and they say that I am going to be okay, and then a few hours later, you became an angel. Thank you, Tammy Dunn, for willing the life back in me because there were a few times I was ready to let go. May you rest in peace, my love.
House of Chuck Magazine gives our deepest condolences to the family of Tammy Dunn and the many survivors whom Tammy has touched.
